About The Role

In this exciting new role, based at the world-leading Space Park Leicester, you will undertake research activities in aerospace and space engineering, working at the interface between academia, industry, and space agencies or funding bodies.
The research will focus on areas that will have an impact beyond academia, in collaboration with the School of Engineering. You will contribute to the development of strategic space and aerospace technologies and research capabilities.
Including working on projects with an industry partner(s) co-located at Space Park Leicester. In addition, you will contribute to funding proposals to the European Space Agency and other funding bodies, as well as the publication of journal papers and participation in international conferences. 

About You

With an MEng or MSc in a relevant discipline, you will have research/program experience in space/aerospace engineering. In addition, you will have experience in thermal and mechanical engineering.
Applied in a space or aerospace discipline. We are looking for someone who has the ability to work closely with relevant partners and is able to look beyond the current tasks to understand future consequences, risks, or difficulties.
