We are looking to hire an Administrator to join our Employee Services team based out of Dubai for a fixed term supporting the Amazon employees in the MENA region. The Employee Services team delivers various employee lifecycle services for the region across different businesses.

This role will focus on providing HR administrative support to our existing team and will be reporting to a Team Manager.

Responsibilities

  • Work on and support key employee life cycle processes, primarily pay services.
  • Input, update and maintain all HR-related data in a timely manner.
  • Maintain the accuracy of the information and key changes as and when necessary and by deadlines, as required
  • Take ownership of employee contacts and requests ensuring that each contact is accepted and resolved with a high degree of customer focus.
  • Meet SLAs set for processes and KPIs set for the role.
  • Carry out audits and checks on data changes to ensure accurate and timely payment of the employee population.
  • Maintain, manage, and regularly audit all employee information and electronic personnel files.
  • Participation in the continuous improvement of HR processes.
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in written form with employees and key stakeholders to explain and resolve queries and concerns. This could be via email, phone, and chat/instant messaging.
  • Participate effectively in ad-hoc projects assigned.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 2 years of work experience in HR administration/HR Shared Service Center in a similar role
  • Basic knowledge of HR processes and systems
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage confidential and sensitive information, adhering to strict standards
  • Ability to work in under pressure, changing environments being flexible

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Work experience in HR Shared Service Center in a similar role in the Middle East region
  • Experience working with remote setup and with international teams where team members are in different locations/belonging to different cultures.
  • Communication skills in Arabic (verbal and written)
  • Payroll management/support experience
