Job Description

We are looking for a focused data entry clerk to continuously update our company’s databases. The data entry clerk will liaise with and follow up with employees within the company as well as with customers to collect information. The data entry clerk will capture the data into relevant databases in a timely and accurate manner. You will identify and correct errors, and swiftly bring them to the attention of relevant parties where necessary.

To do well in this job, you should collect information and capture data promptly to ensure the business’ databases are current to accurately reflect its developments, updates and transactions. Top candidates will be focused, diligent, energetic and have good people’s skills.

The role

  • As Data Entry Administrator you will perform administrative tasks to ensure the accurate fulfilment of confirmation statement filings.
  • You will work in a team of four staff, entering statutory data requirements for submission to Companies House on behalf of clients and customers
  • You will work to tight deadlines and targets
  • General administration

Data Entry Operator Responsibilities

  • Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits.
  • Compiling, verifying accuracy and sorting information to prepare source data for computer entry.
  • Reviewing data for deficiencies or errors, correcting any incompatibilities and checking output.

Skills

  1. Proficient in MS Office, Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  2. Excellent attention to detail
  3. Reliable and conscientious
  4. Self-motivated with a strong work ethic
  5. Accurate data inputting.
